Chur Sports and Event Facilities is selling the admission pass AU DABI. It is a sports pass that allows holders to use a wide variety of municipal sports facilities over the period of a year. With this new offer, the City of Chur aims to encourage people to exercise more and to improve their health. Those who would like to try out the facilities on offer before purchasing an Annual Pass can buy an AU DABI Day Pass or the AU DABI Season Pass.

When the AU DABI Pass is purchased for the first time, a one-time charge of CHF 10 per person for a personal chip wristband is payable. People who already have a chip card from a previous admission pass or Sportscard can exchange it for a chip wristband at a cost of CHF 5.
Recipients of an IV disability allowance, students and apprentices receive a discount on the price of the AU DABI Annual Pass or Season Pass, as well as on all single entry tickets. KulturLegi holders receive a discount on the ChurCard price of the Annual Pass or Season Pass, as well as on single entry tickets to the swimming pools and public ice-skating facilities.

People on low incomes who cannot afford the AU DABI Pass but are not eligible for social benefits also have the possibility of applying to the Municipal Social Fund. Applications can be submitted online using the appropriate application form.
Yes, ChurCard holders benefit from reduced rates on all AU DABI offers. Therefore be sure to always validate your ChurCard in the online ticket shop or at the ticket machine, or present it at the ticket desk.
A family is defined as one or two adults plus any number of children aged 6–16 years living in the same household. The AU DABI Family Pass is registered to one address and the family will receive a receipt for submission to their health insurance. Every family member will receive a chip wristband.
Yes, the Season Pass is available for the outdoor pool season or for the Quader outdoor ice rink season.

Children are free of charge until their 6th birthday.
Yes. You can continue to purchase single entry tickets for the individual sports facilities. If you would like to try out several sports facilities, we recommend the new AU DABI Day Pass. With this pass, you can test all the facilities (gym only with certificate) on one day. If you then decide to purchase the AU DABI Annual Pass on the same day, the cost of the Day Pass will be deducted from the price.
Yes. There is the WATER Season Pass and the WATER Annual Pass. Both WATER Passes are valid in all pools – indoor and outdoor. Additional infos. In winter there is also an ICE Season Pass available for public ice skating indoors and outdoors. Additional infos.
Online: Passes for adults with and without a ChurCard can be extended in the online ticket shop. Register once at shop-sportanlagen.chur.ch and enter the barcode number of your current pass in the shop’s customer card administration (Kundenkartenverwaltung). You will find the barcode number on your physical purchase receipt or on the PDF receipt if you purchased your pass online. You will then receive a link for online renewal by e-mail. In future, you will be automatically reminded of the renewal by e-mail.
Point of sale: All passes can also be renewed at a point of sale at the sports and event facilities. Please take your chip wristband with you.
Passes can be seamlessly renewed before they expire.

Please note:
- Gym: open to adults aged 18 and over, certificate from a fitness centre or introductory course required
- Sauna area: children must be aged 11 or over and accompanied by an adult.

Existing passes and Sportscards
No, the Club Pass Pools for adults and children continues to exist. In addition to the AU DABI Passes there are also WATER and ICE Passes available.
No. Since 3 May 2023, only the AU DABI-, WATER- and ICE-Passes and the Club Pass Pools are available.
The aim was to simplify the tariff system and also to comply with the frequently expressed wish on the part of guests to have one annual pass that covers all the various facilities. The new AU DABI Pass allows guests to enjoy the entire range of sports and wellness activities at Chur Sports and Event Facilities at a fair price.
Yes, you can either simply use up the balance on your Sportscard – you will benefit as usual from a 20% discount on the single entry prices – or have it converted into an AU DABI Annual Pass or a Season Pass.
The credit on your Sportscard will be deducted from the price of your new AU DABI Pass. If there is still credit left, it will be deposited in your Sportscard account for future purchases. This remaining balance can be seen on the purchase receipt.
Example: Your Sportscard has an outstanding credit of CHF 250. This amount will be deducted from the cost of a new AU DABI Pass and you will only pay CHF 229 for your new Annual Pass.
No, the Sportscard is no longer available and money can no longer be uploaded onto it. Since 3 May 2023, only the AU DABI-, WATER- and ICE-Passes and the Club Pass Pool and single entry tickets are available.

No, but there is a AU DABI Season Pass available for the outdoor pool season or for the Quader outdoor ice rink season.
Yes, the AU DABI Day Pass is valid for one calendar day and includes the same services as the AU DABI Annual Pass (varies depending on the season). The Day Pass is ideal for a multi-sports day or to try out the various facilities and activities on offer. If you buy the AU DABI Annual Pass on the same day, the cost of the Day Pass will be deducted from the price. In order to use the gym, you are required to present a certificate from another fitness centre.

No. As children are not permitted to use the gym or the sauna area, it is cheaper for your children to access the desired facilities with single entry tickets.
Yes, of course. Single entry tickets are available for all the various sports facilities. The prices have been adjusted to reflect inflation since the last price change in 2016, as well as increased energy prices.

Access system, chip card and chip wristband
No. All Pass holders and children will now receive a wristband containing a digital chip. This can be used to enter and leave the sports facilities at the turnstiles/entrances and also to open and close the changing room lockers. Once you have received your wristband, you no longer need to queue at the reception desk, but can enter the facilities directly and move around freely within the individual sports facilities.
No. A chip wristband is required in order to access the sports facilities. A one-time fee of CHF 10 is payable per wristband. Existing annual pass holders can exchange their chip card for a wristband for a fee of CHF 5. Customers who still have a KeyCard can exchange it for a chip wristband free of charge.
Yes, the AU DABI Pass chip wristband allows access to all pools and ice rinks without having to queue.
Yes and no. You will continue to receive a paper ticket when you buy a single entry ticket for the outdoor pools and ice rinks. This is because we need to ensure that you can vacate the outdoor pool areas quickly in the event of a thunderstorm. Moreover, the chip wristbands are impractical when you are wearing winter clothing at the ice rinks.
When you buy single entry tickets to the indoor pools and the fitness and wellness areas, you will now receive a chip wristband (free of charge, no deposit required). When you wish to leave the facility, simply place the wristband in the automatic return machine and exit through the turnstile or door.
When you buy the AU DABI Day Pass, you will receive a chip wristband (deposit CHF 20), which allows you free, unlimited access to all the sports facilities.
Please speak to the reception desk staff. You will be given an admission pass on payment of a deposit.
No, they will receive a ticket that allows them admission. Children under the age of 6 years are admitted free of charge.
Please buy a new chip wristband at the reception desk. You pass will be changed over to the new wristband and the lost wristband will be cancelled in the system.

You can buy AU DABI Passes all year round at the reception desk at the Obere Au sports and event facilities as well as at the tourist info at Bahnhofstrasse and also in the summer season at the Sand outdoor swimming pool and in the winter season at the Quader ice rink, or alternatively at any time online at shop-sportanlagen.chur.ch.
